Any gym recommended?

Hi I am a digital nomad and headed to Bangkok next week for a month. I used to work out at Sam Yan Gym in Silom when I am there but turns out they are already closed. if you're still in the silom area, try We Fitness at Sala Daeng. it's a smaller spot but the monthly rate is around 1500 baht and they have decent free weights plus a few machines. the owner is chill about short-term memberships too, just ask for the month pass when you walk in

another option is the YWCA on Sathon Tai, they have a basic gym with a pool for like 800 baht a month. not fancy but gets the job done if you just need to lift and swim, and it's never crowded

fwiw there's also Jetts at Chong Nonsi, it's a 24hr spot so good if you work weird hours. month pass is around 1800 baht and they have a decent cable machine setup, tho the free weights section is a bit tight. the aircon is strong which is nice for Bangkok heat

if you're okay with a short walk from Silom there's True Fitness at Sathorn Square, a bit pricier around 3000 for a month but they have good classes included and the changing rooms are clean. the rooftop view from the cardio machines is a nice bonus

honestly i'd check out The Club at Sathorn, it's in the Taksin area so a bit of a ride from Silom but the monthly pass is reasonable for Bangkok standards. they have a solid weights section and a lap pool if you're into that, also less crowded than the big chains

if you want something closer to your old spot there's Fitness First at Silom Complex, month pass is like 2500 baht last I checked and they got all the basics. just avoid peak hours around 6pm cause it gets packed with office workers

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
