Good Linen shirts in bangkok?

Any ideas? don't need to be custom made or anything, and don't mind spending a little. Any ideas? don't need to be custom made or anything, and don't mind spending a little.

honestly just walk around siam square, there's a jaspal store at siam paragon that always has good linen shirts for around 1500-2000 baht. they're cut well for the humidity, not boxy like some brands. if you want cheaper, the uniqlo at centralwOrld has their airism linen blend for like 990 baht and it's genuinely good for daily wear, dries fast and doesn't wrinkle as bad as pure linen

Check out the Siam Premium Outlets near Krathum Baen. They've got a decent selection from brands like Banana Republic and Brooks Brothers that hold up well in this heat, usually marked down a fair bit. If you're around Sukhumvit, the CentralWorld department store has a Ralph Lauren section that's been my go-to for years. Just avoid the tourist market stalls for linen, the fabric quality is noticeably worse and they shrink after one wash.

have you tried jim thompson? their linen is pricier, like 3-4k baht, but the quality is legit and they have nice patterns that don't look like you're wearing a bedsheet. the outlet at surawong road has better deals than the siam paragon store if you're willing to make the trip

also there's a place called issara on sukhumvit 33 that does small batch linen shirts, around 2500 baht, really clean cuts and the fabric holds up well in the wash. they're not super well known but the staff are actual tailors who know what they're doing

best som tam in Bangkok? Krua Dok Mai Kao 2026

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
