Anyone knows a good English speaking barber?

I need to find a barber who speaks enough English to understand this specific matter. But I can't help but feel like many Thais when communicated to in English about something not basic just don't really understand yet still nod and say yes yes.

honestly, your best bet might be one of the proper barbershops in the emquartier mall on the basement floor. the guys at black bear barber there are used to farang and will actually stop and ask questions if they're unsure. just point at the mole and say "jep maak" (very sore/delicate) and they'll work around it. cuts are around 700 baht and they're pretty meticulous

ngl the other suggestions are solid but if you wanna avoid the mall markup, check out the barber on the ground floor of the nana hotel on sukhumvit 4. old school place, been there forever, the main guy speaks decent english from dealing with tourists for years. just show him the mole and say "mai chop" (no good) while pointing and he'll get it. cuts are like 300 baht and they use a straight razor for the neckline which feels way cleaner than clippers

try barber society on sukhumvit 33, the guys there speak solid english and they're used to dealing with specific requests. the head barber p'lek is pretty patient and will actually listen if you explain the mole situation. just point to it and tell him "be careful here, bleeds a lot" and he'll get it. costs like 600 baht for a cut but worth it for the peace of mind

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
