Custom frame for paintings?
if you're near chatuchak, there's a framing shop on soi 5/1 in the JJ mall area called art & frame. not the touristy part, go around the back. they do custom sizes for like 400-600 baht and can finish it in a day if you ask nicely. the guy there is old school, cash only, no receipt, but the work is solid
if you're near bangkok art and culture centre, the shops in the basement and the surrounding soi do custom frames too. they're used to dealing with odd sizes from the galleries upstairs. pricing is similar, maybe a bit more but the quality's consistent. i'd avoid the weekend market spots for this, they rush it and the corners don't always line up
if you're out towards the east side, check out the frame shops along rama 4 near the asok intersection. there's a couple tucked between the old furniture stores that do custom sizes for pretty cheap. i had a 60x80cm canvas done there for like 400 baht, simple black frame, took two days. just bring the painting with you so they can measure it in person

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
