Best Business Lunch in BKK?

I'm looking for recommendations for a good 'business' lunch set in Sathorn or Sukhumvit up to Ekkamai. I've already tried Cagette, La Bouchon and Oysterman so any other thoughts would be appreciated.… I'm looking for recommendations for a good 'business' lunch set in Sathorn or Sukhumvit up to Ekkamai. honestly for a proper business lunch vibe in sathorn, try Issaya Siamese Club on sathorn soi 12. their set lunch is around 650 and the garden setting is quiet enough for actual conversation, not like those open-kitchen spots where you cant hear yourself think. also worth checking out Eat Me on soi soi pipat 2, it's not a set lunch but the menu is a la carte and you can keep it under 800 if you're not going crazy with wine. both are walkable from bts if that matters

if you're in ekkamai, senso on soi 10 does a solid italian lunch set for 550 baht, their pasta is handmade and the portions are generous enough to feel like a proper meal without being heavy. another option is suis le ciel on sathorn soi 12, the set is 420 baht and the view from the 32nd floor is a nice conversation starter for clients, just book ahead for a window table

you should try the lunch set at sra bua by kiin kiin in sathorn soi 12, it's around 800 baht but the tasting menu is legit and the space is quiet enough for meetings. also, ngl, the business set at the house on sathorn in the w hotel is good value at 550 baht and the old building gives it a classy vibe that impresses clients without being too loud

best som tam in Bangkok? Krua Dok Mai Kao 2026

Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but I've always found their som tam a bit tame on the pla ra. If you want the real funky version, try the shophouse spots along Soi Udomsuk 26, near the night market end. They pound it fresh with fermented fish that'll clear your sinuses, and it's like 60 baht. Different style from the On Nut places, more Lao-leaning.

for som tam specifically i'd say the Isaan spots in Chatuchak are underrated, weekdays only though since the weekend crowd ruins the vibe. there's a stall near gate 2 that does tam pa with fermented bamboo shoots, super sour and funky, not something you see much in On Nut. if you're already heading north for Or Tor Kor anyway its worth the detour.

honestly the som tam at Krua Dok Mai Kao is good but what got me hooked is their nam prik pla raa dip with the raw veggies, that funk hits way harder than the papaya does. think most people sleep on it cuz they just order the som tam and gai yang. also pro tip, go before noon on weekdays, after that teh pla ra gets milder cuz they batch it for the lunch rush
