Street food night market recommendations for tonight?

I already been to China Town night market and I'm looking to where to go tonight. Was looking into Jodd Fairs but heard is touristy and overpriced, so looking for better recommendations 🤙🏻 I already been to China Town night market and I'm looking to where to go tonight. talad rot fai is solid but honestly if you're already in the city center, just hit up yaowarat again but go deeper into the side sois off charoen krung. less crowds, same grills and seafood but half the price. jodd fairs is overrated ngl, it's basically instagram bait with 80 baht skewers.

for something different tonight, check out khlong toei market. not a night market exactly but the street food around there after dark is insane, real local stuff like grilled pla pao and som tum made to order. it's rough around the edges but thats the point. bring cash and an empty stomach.

yeah jodd fairs is basically a tourist trap now, prices are way higher than they should be. if u want something more local check out liab duan night market out near rama 9, it's huge and has a lot of actual thai food stalls plus the grilled seafood is legit. another solid option is talad neon on ratchaprarop, it's close to pratunam and has a good mix of food without the insane crowds. just be ready for the heat, it's still bangkok after all

honestly if you're near china town already, just walk over to yaowarat road itself after dark, the street food there is better than any market setup and it's the real deal. the grilled seafood stalls on the corner near the old siam plaza are fire, get the giant river prawns for like 300 baht. jodd fairs is a hard pass, it's basically an instagram backdrop with marked up prices. talad rot fai ratchada is decent but the srinakarin one the other person mentioned is way better if you can get a grab out there, it's more of a weekend thing tho so check before u go

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
