A place without a min. lease in Bangkok?
Since I started looking for a place for 2 mont… Is there any place where I can rent without a minimum lease and deposit? I am looking for 2-3 bedrooms near the On Nut BTS station in Bangkok till June.
Since I started looking for a place for 2 months, I understand that it is common to rent a place with a minimum lease and deposit. But I rented a place without a deposit for a short term last year. If anyone knows or has a place, please leave a comment or message! Thanks!
fwiw i know a place near On Nut BTS station thats prob gonna be a bit pricey but they dont usually ask for a deposit, its a serviced apartment on sukhumvit road, the rates are around 40,000 to 60,000 baht per month for a 2-3 bedroom unit, they have a daily and monthly rate so u can rent it for a short term, i think the daily rate is around 1,500 to 2,500 baht, you should check it out at the condos on sukhumvit soi 52 or soi 50 they have a few options there
You could try looking at some of the smaller guesthouses or hostels that do monthly rates, they're usually more flexible than big condos. There's a few along Soi 50 that might let you negotiate a short-term deal without the deposit hassle.
Yeah, you might have better luck looking at Airbnb listings in that area. A lot of hosts there are fine with 2-month stays and don't ask for a deposit, just pay upfront. Just filter by monthly rates and you'll find some options around On Nut.
best som tam in Bangkok? Krua Dok Mai Kao 2026
yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
