imo the suggestions so far are solid but if you want something a bit different try kpn barbershop near on nut bts. they do a proper consultation before cutting which is rare here, like they'll actually ask about your hair texture and how you style it. i went there when my hair was at that awkward shoulder length and they cleaned it up without making it look like a generic crop. think it was 400 baht for the cut and they speak decent english. just book ahead on their line because walk-ins can be a long wait
honestly for that length and a guys cut i'd hit up 1000 barbershop near on nut bts. they're a bit further east but the walk from the station is like 5 mins. the guys there are proper skilled with scissor work not just clippers so they'll shape it well for you. around 400 baht last time i went.
if you want something more modern check out nack barbershop in ekkamai, it's in the soi past gateway mall. they do a good job with textured cuts for medium hair and the wait is usually shorter than blackbird. about 600 baht.
ngl for shoulder length hair on a guy you might wanna try korean or japanese barbershops instead of the usual thai spots. there's a place called barber society on sukhumvit 24 that does a solid job with longer texture, they're around 800 baht but they actually listen when you say "keep the length just clean up the ends". also seen good work from the guys at hairmosa near ari bts, they specialize in asian hair but worked on plenty of farang too
best som tam in Bangkok? Krua Dok Mai Kao 2026
yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
