mate honestly i'd skip the tourist spots and hit up river city on si phraya road, they've got rotating gallery shows that actually change weekly unlike bacc. for music try the basement at singha beer house on thong lor, they do killer live bands thursday to sunday and the sound system is solid. just a heads up tho most thai women here are wary of randoms from reddit, might have better luck at actual openings or gigs

check out the jam at studio lam on sukhumvit 26, they do live jazz and experimental stuff most nights. if u want art the bangkok art and culture centre is fine but honestly the warehouse 30 creative space off charoen krung has way more character. just be aware thai girls might not reply to this kind of post, it's not really a thing here. safe travels

kinda wild how many replies are warning you off when the real issue is just format. if you actually want to meet people into art here, the bangkok art biennale satellite shows are scattered all over and the crowds at those are super social. the one at river city has a rooftop bar where people hang after. for music try the jazz republic on sukhumvit soi 16, it's underground and the musicians actually talk to you between sets. way easier to make connections face to face than through a post like this

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
