The most reliable, easy to use, best app software etc. I drive a plug in hybrid and I find I nearly always have issues using On-Ion stations followed by E Volt. I'm always happy when I find a Sharge point. Central shopping malls also seem to have their own way of charging by time and not energy consumed. They also only have slow single phase chargers which is very strange. It takes twice as long to charge and costs twice the amount.

yeah the mall charging situation is a mess, the single phase thing is mostly because they're running off the building's existing electrical system and adding DC would mean tearing up the parking lot. for plug-in hybrids specifically i've had the best luck with the EA Anywhere stations at the PTT gas stations along the expressways, they're usually working and the app is straightforward. also worth checking if your car supports the ChargePoint network, there's a handful of those around Sukhumvit and they bill per kWh which is way more predictable than the time-based stuff at malls

I've had the best luck with EA Anywhere personally, their app actually shows you which stalls are working instead of making you drive to a dead charger. For a plug-in hybrid their slower speeds don't really matter and you can pay through the app without any drama.

honestly for a PHEV you might wanna check out some of the PEA Volta stations near the city center, like the one behind Central Ladprao. they charge by kWh and the app is pretty basic but it works, no random disconnects like On-Ion.

another option nobody mentions is EA Anywhere, they have a few spots around Rama 9 and their customer support is actually responsive on Line. the chargers are a bit slower but for a plug-in hybrid that's fine, and the pricing is fair.

forget about the mall chargers unless you're stuck at Siam Paragon for hours. their time-based pricing is a scam and the single phase thing is just lazy on their part. Sharge is def the gold standard but you already know that.

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
