Hi! I'm going to stay 2 months in Bangkok and are looking for payed help for my YouTube channel.

Do anyone know where to find freelance people that can help me out?(local people) Or if you can send me in the right direction 🙂

Best regards,

check out the bangkok filmmakers facebook group, lots of local videographers post there looking for gigs. also try posting in the "bangkok creatives" group on the same platform. if you want someone who knows the street food scene specifically, ask around the food stalls at or tor kor market near chatuchak, some of the younger vendors have friends who shoot content. just be clear about pay upfront, a day rate for a local shooter with basic gear is usually around 1500-2500 baht

Two months is a good stretch, you'll have time to find the right person. Hit up the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre (BACC) near Siam, there's often a bulletin board near the ground floor cafe where local filmmakers and photographers pin their cards. Also, the weekend market at Chatuchak has a row of vintage camera shops in section 5, the owners there usually know a few reliable freelancers who shoot food content and won't flake on you.

honestly the best way is to just walk around sukhumvit soi 38 or the old town near khao san and talk to people filming content themselves. a lot of local creators are happy to help for cash if u approach them chill. the thai youtube community is pretty tight knit so once you find one person they'll prob know others. i'd skip the agencies they overcharge and the freelancers on those platforms are usually less passionate about food specifically

best som tam in Bangkok? Krua Dok Mai Kao 2026

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
