Where to sell or donate my old shoes?

just walk into any bata store, they have a donation bin by the counter usually. i've dropped pairs there before and they take anything from sandals to sneakers. also the bangkok community help center near on nut bts has a collection box on the ground floor, no need to talk to anyone just drop and go

another option is the bangkok rubbish museum near bang phlat, they take old shoes for a project turning them into planters and stuff. no money but you get a weird little tour if you ask nicely. there's also a guy at the chatuchak weekend market section 24 who buys used sneakers for parts, he's there on saturdays near the antique stalls.

honestly the easiest drop is the salvation army thrift store on sathorn soi 12, they take anything wearable even single shoes. no forms no fuss just hand them over at the counter between 10am and 6pm. if you want a few baht for them try the night market stalls near huai khwang, some guys buy bulk used shoes for like 20 baht a pair but theyre picky about condition

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
