Good podologist in Bangkok?

arrow_drop_up 2576 arrow_drop_down

for a proper foot doc, try dr. nopadon at bamrasnaradura hospital in nonthaburi. he's a real podiatrist, not just a general ortho, and takes time to explain stuff. about 800-1000 baht for a consult with insurance, walk-in might be a bit more. also heard good things about the foot clinic at bhumibol adulyadej hospital if you're closer to central bangkok

foot at silom soi 3 has a podiatrist who does house calls too, which is handy if you're stuck in a condo. she's thai but speaks english fine, 2000 baht for a home visit. i'd go there over bnh just because it's less hassle with parking and waiting

if you're in the sukhumvit area, dr. thiti at samitivej sukumvit has a sports medicine clinic that handles a lot of foot stuff too. not a dedicated podiatrist but he's dealt with plantar fasciitis and ankle issues for years. consult runs around 1500-2000 baht there, a bit pricier but the english is solid and they'll do imaging same day if needed

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
