what activity is popular here?

ngl the whole street food thing at night is a whole vibe, especially around chinatown on yaowarat road after 6pm. you'll find stalls selling grilled seafood and mango sticky rice for like 50 baht, way better than the tourist spots near khao san

rooftop bars are a whole thing here, especially around silom and sukhumvit. you can grab a beer at a place like tichuca or the speakeasy for like 200-400 baht and get insane views of the skyline without the club vibe. just go around sunset to beat the heat and crowds

honestly i'd say hitting up the river taxis is underrated. you can hop on for 15 baht and just ride it across the city, gets you to wat pho or the grand palace without dealing with traffic. plus you get a cool breeze and see the temples from the water, way more chill than a tuk tuk

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
