I've heard the rooftop bar is amazing, but the photos online don't really show the vibe. Is it more of a chill, relaxed atmosphere, or is it buzzing with a younger, party crowd? I'm hoping for something a bit sophisticated but still fun. Trying to decide if I should make reservations or just wing it. Any insights from someone who's been there recently would be awesome!

The rooftop at Sivalai Place leans toward the sophisticated side. I've been a couple times and it's mostly well-dressed locals finishing dinner, not a rowdy scene. If you want a quieter evening, aim for a Tuesday or Wednesday. For a Friday, definitely book a table by 7pm or you'll end up stuck near the elevator. The lychee martini is their best bet if you ask me.

honestly it's more on the chill side, not really a party spot. i went last month and it was mostly couples and small groups just chatting over drinks. you can prob wing it on a weekday but weekend you'll want a reservation.

It's pretty swanky, but not stuffy. Think sophisticated cocktails with a cool, grown-up vibe, not a thumping club. Definitely more relaxed than buzzing, although it can get busy, especially on weekends. Reservations are probably a good idea, especially if you're going at peak time. You'll want to snag a spot by the edge for the best views.

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
