Honestly, the food scene near Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University is fantastic, but it's not exactly secret. It's just... well, not plastered all over every travel blog. You'll find tons of great stuff just wandering around the sois (small streets) nearby. Don't expect fancy stalls; look for places where locals are eating. That's usually a good sign.

Check out the smaller food carts and vendors, especially those that set up shop in the evenings. They often have the most delicious and affordable options. I wouldn't focus on one specific place, the joy is in the discovery! The university itself is pretty unassuming from the outside, but it has some cool old buildings tucked away on the campus. yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
