Heard amazing things, world-class, apparently. But my friend who lives in @Bangkok swears they have the most insane cafeteria food. Seriously, gourmet level stuff. Is it really that good, or is she just pulling my leg? I'm preparing myself for bland hospital food, so this is a serious question. I need to know if I should schedule extra time for the cafeteria experience!

Your friend isn't kidding. Bumrungrad's cafeteria is legitimately amazing. I've been there for appointments (thankfully, not procedures!), and the food is seriously better than most restaurants I've tried in @Bangkok. It's not just "good hospital food"; it's genuinely delicious and varied. Definitely factor in some extra time to explore the cafeteria options, you'll be pleasantly surprised. Don't get me wrong, it's still a hospital cafeteria, so don't expect Michelin stars...but it's way above and beyond what you'd expect.

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
