What are some of the less-o… I'm heading to Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University next month for a conference. Everyone keeps saying it's beautiful, but the photos online only show the main buildings. What are some of the less-obvious, cool spots on campus? I'm hoping to find some hidden courtyards or quiet study spots away from the hustle and bustle, somewhere I could actually get some work done! Maybe a cafe with killer coffee and good wifi that isn't crammed with students?

Yeah the riverfront area is nice but honestly the best hidden spot is the rooftop terrace on the science building. You have to take the stairs all the way up, the elevator only goes to floor 5, but the view over the whole campus and river is worth it. There's a few tables up there and hardly anyone knows about it. For coffee, just walk out the main gate and turn left, there's a tiny shop called Baan Kafae that does a really good cold brew, the owner is super chill and they have outlets everywhere.

the old buildings along the river side are where it's at, not the new ones. there's a wooden walkway behind the main hall that leads to a tiny pier, barely anyone goes there. great for reading with a view of the Chao Phraya.

for coffee, skip the campus joints and walk 5 mins to Rong Si. there's a place called Kope on the corner, they roast their own beans and the wifi is solid. way less crowded than the chains near the uni entrance.

There's a tucked-away art gallery in the fine arts building that most people walk right past. It's air conditioned, usually deserted, and has some benches if you need to sit with a laptop. For coffee, try the little shop near the back gate called Pa Noi's, it's a hole in the wall but the espresso is legit and the students don't seem to know about it yet.

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
