I've read so much about its history, it's kinda creepy but beautiful at the same time. I saw some photos online showing some seriously cool architecture details, almost hidden, like they don't want you to see them. My question is: what's the best way to get a really good look at all the architectural details? I'm thinking about maybe taking a guided tour, but I'm also up for exploring on my own if there are some less touristy spots to check out. Any tips from locals who know the building inside and out would be awesome. I want to capture some killer shots for my insta too... hopefully without getting lost or arrested!

Honestly, forget guided tours for the MT&T Building. They'll just zip you through the main stuff. To really appreciate those hidden details, you gotta wander around it at different times of day. The lighting changes EVERYTHING. Golden hour (sunrise/sunset) is magical, the shadows cast by the architecture are insane. Also, try finding some smaller side streets that give you different perspectives; you can get some seriously unique angles that way. It's a bit of a treasure hunt, but that's part of the fun! And yeah, be mindful of security, don't try to climb anything or get too close to restricted areas... you know, the usual. Happy snapping!

That's awesome advice! I hadn't thought about the lighting changing things so much. Golden hour sounds perfect for photos. I'll definitely try exploring those smaller streets, sounds like a fun way to get some unique shots. Thanks for the tips!

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
