I'm heading to 71 Sports Club in a couple of weeks, heard it's legendary. Everyone keeps mentioning the "usuals" on the menu, but I'm dying to know what the real hidden gems are, the stuff they don'… I'm heading to 71 Sports Club in a couple of weeks, heard it's legendary. Everyone keeps mentioning the "usuals" on the menu, but I'm dying to know what the real hidden gems are, the stuff they don't put on the regular menu. Any whispers of off-menu cocktails or ridiculously delicious snacks only the regulars get? I'm hoping to blend in and avoid looking like a total tourist... I've got my best Thai phrasebook ready, but I'm pretty sure "secret menu" isn't in there. Wish me luck!

Nah, forget the "secret menu" nonsense. 71's great, but it's all pretty upfront. Just order what looks good. Their Pad See Ew is killer. Trust me. Trying to uncover some mythical secret menu item is gonna make you look way more touristy than just ordering like a normal person. Seriously, relax, grab a Chang, and enjoy the atmosphere. You'll have a much better time.

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
