But the green curry... it was... underwhelming. I'm wondering if it's just a bad batch I got or if their green curry is consistently less impressive than their other dishes? Should of ordered something else, I guess. Next time I'm going straight for another Pad See Ew, though. Maybe trying the massaman curry too?

Chopsticks' green curry has always been hit or miss, I think their strength is the smoky wok hei which doesn't carry over to the curry pot. The massaman is a solid choice, it's rich and consistent, but honestly the real hidden gem is their crispy pork belly stir-fry with basil. If you're back on Sukhumvit near Soi 11, grab the massaman and skip the green curry entirely.

ngl chopsticks is a solid spot but their green curry has always been mid to me. i think their strength is the wok-heavy dishes like pad see ew or the drunken noodles. if you go back, try the massaman, it's actually pretty consistent and the peanuts give it a nice crunch. also, if you're on sukhumvit soi 11, hit up the little cart outside for a cheaper but still fire pad thai afterward

honestly i think their green curry has always been kinda bland, it's not just you. the real move is getting the drunken noodles with extra chili, or the basil pork if you want something with actual heat

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
