Finding the Perfect Ramune

I'm obsessed with Japanese Ramune soda, that marble thing is SO COOL. But finding a decent selection of flavors outside of Japan is... a quest. My question is, does anyone know which 7-Eleven locations in Bangkok consistently stock the widest variety of Ramune? I'm hoping to avoid the disappointment of only finding the standard melon flavor. Seriously, it would make or break my trip. I plan on spending half my time wandering through 7-Eleven looking for the best one. Maybe even trying some of their other snacks, too. That mango sticky rice ice cream sounds amazing...

the japanese grocery stores are your real target, not 7-eleven. fuji at gateway ekamai has a whole shelf of ramune near the register, like 6-7 flavors last time i was there. also check out the little shop in japanese town on sukhumvit soi 33/1, they sometimes have the seasonal ones like peach or soda float flavor. the 7-eleven hunt is fun for the experience but you'll waste a lot of time walking into ones that only have melon and maybe lychee if you're lucky. grab that mango sticky rice ice cream while you're at it, it's genuinely good

imo the 7-eleven ramune hunt is a bit of a wild goose chase but if you insist on trying, the one at central world basement near the food court sometimes has a surprise stock of like 4-5 flavors, i've seen strawberry and orange there before. honestly though the better play is hitting up that japanese market at soi thonglor 5, it's a tiny place but they import direct and usually have the seasonal ones like sakura or yogurt flavor. plus you can grab some onigiri while you're there, way better than 7-eleven's. the mango sticky rice ice cream is a must though, that's at every 7-eleven so you'll find it easy

skip 7-eleven for ramune honestly, they barely stock it even near siam square. try japanese grocery stores like fuji supermarket at gateway ekamai or don don donki at thonglor, they usually have 5-6 flavors including grape and lychee. the mango sticky rice ice cream is legit though, that's at every 7-eleven so u can grab it while u hunt

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
