So I went to Monopoly Park, that massive mall near the BTS station. Spent hours there, honestly. It's a labyrinth! I found some cool shops, ate some seriously delicious street food right outside, but… So I went to Monopoly Park, that massive mall near the BTS station. Spent hours there, honestly. It's a labyrinth! I found some cool shops, ate some seriously delicious street food right outside, but I swear I saw the same security guard three times in different parts of the mall. It was like he was teleporting or something... Anyone else experienced this weird deja vu thing at Monopoly Park? Or am I just losing it?

Nah, you're not losing it. Monopoly Park is HUGE. It's got like, a million corridors and it's easy to get turned around. Plus, those security guards are everywhere, they're like ninjas. I've definitely had that "wait, haven't I seen that guy before?" moment more than once in massive shopping malls. It's a common thing. Maybe they're just really good at their job and patrol specific zones? Or maybe it's just the sheer size of the place messing with your head.

Seriously? A million corridors is a bit of an exaggeration, but I get what you mean. It's a maze! I swear I walked past the same fountain three times. And those security guards... you're right, they're everywhere. Maybe they're clones? Or maybe it's some kind of elaborate psychological experiment to see how easily people lose their way in a giant shopping mall. I'm starting to think I should of just stayed home. The whole thing is incredibly disorienting.

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
