Finding Peace at Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat?

I've heard it's a beautiful campus, but I'm curious, where are the best spots for quiet contemplation or study breaks? The conference schedule is brutal, and I need to find some pockets of calm amidst the chaos. Any local tips on hidden, serene corners of the university grounds would be greatly appreciated. I'm picturing myself under a shady tree, notebook in hand, maybe near a quiet pond... something away from the main hustle and bustle.

The old buildings near the river side of campus are your best bet. There's a shaded walkway behind the main auditorium that most people miss because it's not on the direct path to anything. The benches there face the Chao Phraya and you'll get a nice breeze off the water. If you need air conditioning, the second floor of the old library building has a reading room that's almost always empty during conference hours, just bring a jacket because they keep the AC freezing.

Try the back corner near the Faculty of Humanities. There's a small lotus pond tucked between two older buildings that most students skip because it's out of the way. The benches are concrete but someone put cushions on a couple of them, and the trees block enough sun that you can sit there even at midday. If you're lucky the resident cat will keep you company, she's been there for years and doesn't bother anyone.

theres a small garden right behind the Faculty of Education building that nobody seems to know about. its got these old tamarind trees that give good shade and a few concrete benches scattered around. i used to go there between classes and it was dead quiet except for the birds. also if you walk past the student cafeteria towards the back fence theres a little soi with a couple of food stalls that have plastic tables under a tin roof, cheap coffee and total calm in the afternoon.

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
