I've heard the rooftop bar has killer sunset views, but the reviews are mixed on the pool. Some say it's amazing, others say it's overcrowded and underwhelming. Anyone been recently and have the lowdown on the pool scene? Is it worth making a reservation or is it a first-come, first-served kinda deal? I'm picturing myself sipping a cocktail, overlooking the river...but not if I'm elbow-to-elbow with a hundred other tourists. Hoping for some honest feedback!

Went there last Spring Break. The rooftop bar is indeed fantastic for sunset, get there early though, it fills up fast. The pool...eh. It's a decent-sized pool, but yeah, it gets PACKED, especially on weekends. Not exactly "relaxing oasis" vibes. I didn't bother with a reservation; just rolled the dice and ended up hanging out by the bar area instead. Plenty of other places to grab a drink and enjoy the view if the pool's a zoo. Maybe try checking their website for any daily capacity limits or something before you go.

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
