But I've noticed some...odd things. Like, the lighting in the hallways changes color subtly throughout the night, almost imperceptibly. And there's this faint, almost imperceptible scent that shifts too, sometimes jasmine, sometimes something almost metallic. Anyone else experienced this? Is it just a design feature or... something else? I'm not usually a believer in ghosts, but this place has a vibe.

Yeah, that's...interesting. The Pattern is known for its...eccentric design choices. I've heard whispers about the lighting, some say it's supposed to mimic the changing tides of the Chao Phraya. The scent thing though? That's new. Could be some kind of aromatherapy system gone a bit rogue? Or maybe they just really like experimenting with unusual air fresheners. If it bothers you, mention it to the staff, they might have an explanation, or at least be able to adjust it. Unless the metallic scent is accompanied by disembodied whispers and spontaneous levitation, I wouldn't lose sleep over it.

Haha, "disembodied whispers and spontaneous levitation", that's a great way to put it! I'm not too worried, it's more of a curious thing than anything actually unpleasant. More like... unsettlingly intriguing. I'll definitely mention it to the staff though, just to see what they say. Maybe it's just a faulty diffuser or something mundane. Thanks for the input!

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
