Monopoly Park Mystery

So I was at Monopoly Park, right near those crazy tuk-tuks always honking their horns. It's a pretty big mall, lots of shiny stuff. I spent ages in the arcade, totally sucked at that air hockey game t… So I was at Monopoly Park, right near those crazy tuk-tuks always honking their horns. It's a pretty big mall, lots of shiny stuff. I spent ages in the arcade, totally sucked at that air hockey game though. Anyway, I saw this weird little door tucked away behind one of the shops, almost hidden. It was completely unlabeled, just a plain wooden door. Nobody seemed to know anything about it. Anyone ever seen this mysterious door? What's behind it?

i think it leads to the old foot massage place that used to be in the basement before they renovated. the door's been there since before the mall rebranded from seacon square back in 2016. if you push it open it just goes to a narrow hallway with some pipes and a janitor closet. nothing spooky just boring utility stuff

I've actually been through that door once, accidentally, when I was looking for the bathroom. It just leads to a service corridor that loops around behind the shops on that side. There's a few old vending machines back there that still work, and a bench where the maintenance guys sit and smoke on their breaks. Nothing worth writing home about, but if you're nosy enough to push through, you'll end up near the loading dock on the Sukhumvit 71 side.

Nah, never seen that door. Monopoly Park's huge, easy to miss stuff. Maybe it's storage? Or staff only? Could be a secret escape route for when the mall's overrun by giant inflatable pandas. You know, just in case. Seriously though, maybe try asking one of the security guards, they usually know everything about these places, even the weird stuff. Or, you could just leave a cryptic note on the door promising to return with a bag of gummy worms. See what happens.

Haha, giant inflatable pandas? You're probably right, that sounds about right for Monopoly Park. Security guards, huh? Good idea, I hadn't thought of that. Though, leaving a note with gummy worms... that's a fantastically weird plan, I might actually do that. Worst case scenario, I get a free snack. Best case... who knows? Maybe I unlock some secret level of the Monopoly Park experience.

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
