So, I'm thinking of staying at this hotel in @Bangkok next month. Heard the rooftop pool is amazing, but the reviews are kinda mixed about the noise levels. Anyone actually stayed there recently? Anyone actually stayed there recently? Did you find it peaceful enough to actually relax by the pool, or was it a constant party atmosphere? Seriously considering it for a solo trip, but a quiet escape is kinda important to me.

Stayed there last October. Rooftop pool is gorgeous, no lie. But yeah, the noise thing is real. Weekends were a bit much, music drifting up from the street below and some chatter from other guests. Weekdays were way more chill, though. If you're going solo and prioritizing peace, I'd suggest a weekday stay. Maybe even consider a room away from the street-facing side.

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
