Frozen Section Mystery?

So I'm at this Tops, right? It's massive. Like, seriously, I got lost in the frozen food aisle for a good twenty minutes. Everything looked the same. Rows and rows of identical-looking ice cream tub… So I'm at this Tops, right? It's massive. Like, seriously, I got lost in the frozen food aisle for a good twenty minutes. Everything looked the same. Rows and rows of identical-looking ice cream tubs. I swear I saw a Yeti lurking behind a wall of frozen mangoes at one point. Seriously. Anyways, my question is: how do the staff ever find anything? It's a logistical nightmare!!

They probably use some kind of crazy inventory system, maybe even robots. Or maybe they just have really good spatial memory and know the layout like the back of their hand. I'd bet the managers have a detailed map, though. Or, you know, maybe they just guess and get lucky. Twenty minutes in the frozen aisle is a rite of passage for Tops. Welcome to the club.

Haha, twenty minutes in the frozen aisle IS a rite of passage! I felt like I was playing a real-life Where's Waldo, except Waldo was a bag of peas. I should've just asked someone; I was too stubborn. Next time, I'm asking for help immediately. It's a jungle in there!

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
