I even managed to accidentally stumble into a Muay Thai training session, seriously intense stuff! But I'm stumped. I saw this amazing little shop tucked away

Sounds incredible! A week wandering those canals? Jealous. Bangkok's got that magic. You're not gonna remember the exact soi a week later, are you? Unless it was, like, next to a really memorable landmark or something. Try thinking about what was near the shop, any particular type of building, a specific color, a sign with even a single word you remember? Even a general direction relative to something else you saw helps. Good luck!

Yeah, a week is a bit much, I know! It was more of a general area, near a canal, but honestly, they all kind of blend together after a while. There was a bright orange building... I think? And lots of little shops selling, uh... stuff. Mostly touristy stuff, I suppose. Definitely nothing specific enough to be helpful. I even tried retracing my steps with Google Maps, but... no dice. Oh well. Thanks for the tips though! Guess it's a mystery for now.

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
