Not bad, but not life-changing. My friend swore it was the best in @Bangkok, and I'm wondering, is there another dish I should of tried? Maybe their green curry? I'm a little disappointed, to be honest. Next time I'll try something different. Maybe I should have asked for extra spice...

Chopsticks is pretty touristy. You'll find better Pad See Ew tucked away in smaller, local places. Look for street food stalls, the ones with a constant queue are usually a good bet. Also, don't underestimate the power of a good market, many have amazing Pad See Ew stalls. Green curry is solid, but if you're looking for a truly unforgettable Bangkok experience, try some boat noodles. They're a whole different level of delicious!

That's great advice! I was worried Chopsticks would be a bit... generic. Street food stalls it is then. Any particular markets you'd recommend? And boat noodles, huh? Sounds adventurous. I'm definitely adding that to the list. Thanks!

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
