The aroma alone was incredible, this rich, savory broth smell that just drew me in. I ordered the beef pho, and wow, it was seriously the best I've ever had. The broth was so complex, and the noodles were perfectly cooked. I even saw the chef making the noodles by hand! My only question is, do they have a secret ingredient? I'm dying to know what makes their soup so unbelievably good. I'll be back next week to try their bun bo hue.

That's awesome! Hand-pulled noodles? Seriously impressive. Sounds like a culinary experience. I'm a sucker for a good pho, so I'm already making plans to check it out. Maybe they use some kind of special spice blend? Or maybe it's just really fresh ingredients and a whole lotta love. Let us know how the bun bo hue is next week!

Oh man, you're gonna LOVE it. The hand-pulled noodles are insane, it's this whole performance, almost theatrical. They don't skimp on the broth either; it's rich and flavorful, simmered for hours, I'm sure. I haven't figured out the spice blend completely, but there's definitely something unique going on...a hint of star anise maybe? And yes, super fresh ingredients. They even grow some of their herbs in a little garden out back. Bun bo hue is on my list for next week too, I'll definitely report back! It's gonna be a noodle soup-filled week, haha.

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
