So, I'm at this Over Stay Hotel, right near the Chao Phraya River. The pool's amazing, seriously, I could live here. But the Wi-Fi... it's like a dial-up modem from the 90s. Seriously considering writ… So, I'm at this Over Stay Hotel, right near the Chao Phraya River. The pool's amazing, seriously, I could live here. But the Wi-Fi... it's like a dial-up modem from the 90s. Seriously considering writing a strongly worded email. Spent three hours trying to upload a single picture to Instagram. My question is: Do they have any plans to upgrade their internet? It's kinda killing the vibe.

Three hours?! Yikes. That's brutal. Have you tried contacting the hotel directly, not just email, but maybe a phone call? Sometimes, getting a human on the line is way more effective than a strongly worded email. They might have a temporary issue, or maybe even offer you a discount for the inconvenience. If it's a persistent problem, and a phone call doesn't yield results, then yeah, that email's probably your next move. But I'd try the personal touch first.

Yeah, good point. Three hours is ridiculous. I did email, got a canned response about "technical difficulties." I'll try calling. Honestly, I'm starting to think this whole place is a bit of a mess... maybe I should of just booked somewhere else. Ugh. Thanks for the advice!

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
