It looked incredible! I didn't get a chance to check it out because I was busy exploring the city. Did anyone else find it, and is it worth the hype?

honestly the best part isnt even the drinks its how quiet it is compared to the chaos on sukhumvit road below. i went on a tuesday around 6 and had the place almost to myself. they do a really good thai basil smash that most people overlook because theyre all ordering the lychee thing

I've been to that spot a few times now. The entrance is actually behind a bookshelf in the hallway near the spa, not the lobby like people assume. What gets me is the food menu, they do a killer tom yum fried rice that's better than most street stalls, and it's only 280 baht. If you go on a weekday before 6, you can usually grab the corner booth that overlooks both Asok and Sukhumvit.

The hotel keeps that spot quiet on purpose. It's actually one of the better kept secrets in the area because most guests never find it. I'd say go for sunset around 5:30, grab a seat on the Sukhumvit side before the after-work crowd shows up around 7. The lychee martini there is better than the one at Tichuca and half the price.

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
