The main street was busy, but turning down a smaller soi, I stumbled on this amazing little street food stall tucked away. The Pad See Ew was incredible! Seriously, the best I've had in Thailand. My question is: are there any other hidden culinary treasures like that along Si Ayutthaya Road that aren't in the main tourist guides? I'm going back next month and want to find more spots like this.

That's awesome you found such a great Pad See Ew! Si Ayutthaya has tons of hidden food stalls, you just have to look. Try venturing down some of the sois (side streets) further from the main road. The ones with less foot traffic often have the best local spots. Look for places where lots of Thais are eating, that's usually a good sign. And don't be afraid to wander! You might even stumble upon something better than your last find. Happy eating!

So true! I was so surprised how delicious that Pad See Ew was, totally unexpected. I'll definitely try exploring those smaller sois next time I'm there. Thanks for the tips, armed with this advice, I'm practically a food-finding ninja now! Wish me luck!

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
