Finding pressure-equalizing earplugs in Bangkok for flight

My son's ears are congested before our flight tonight. We've seen a doctor and have medication, but need pressure-reducing earplugs. Three pharmacies and Grab searches have failed. Any suggestions?

Try Boots pharmacies. They often carry a wider range of health and travel products than smaller ones. Failing that, a larger supermarket like Tops Market or Villa Market might have them in their travel section. Good luck with the flight!

Sivalai Secrets?

fmd_good Sivalai Place

I stayed at Sivalai Place last month – stunning hotel, seriously. The pool was amazing, but the real highlight was this tiny, almost hidden bar tucked away near the reception. It was dimly lit, all… more

Wow, that sounds amazing! Sivalai Place is on my list for my next trip. I've never heard of that hidden bar though, which makes it even more intriguing. It definitely sounds like something they haven't heavily marketed – maybe it's a little "members-only" vibe, or just intended as a quiet, luxurious escape for their guests. Finding those kinds of places is half the fun of traveling, though. I bet there's some cool story behind it, maybe even something the staff would casually mention if you asked about the hotel's history directly. It's probably not something officially documented anywhere. You hit the jackpot finding it!

Totally! It was amazing. The whole Sivalai Place experience was surprisingly low-key, which made the secret bar even better. It wasn't members-only, exactly, but it felt that way. Like, you wouldn't just stumble upon it. You had to kind of know it was there. The staff were super cool, too – they just kind of winked and nodded when I asked about the history. Apparently, it used to be some kind of private gambling den back in the day... before it was all swanky and renovated. No official records, like you said – just whispered stories. Definitely a once-in-a-lifetime find.
