The dried mango from the basement grocery at Siam Paragon is a solid choice. The packs are thin and flexible so you can wedge them into any gap in your bag. I'd skip the sweetened kind and get the sour dried slices, they last longer and don't taste like sugar.

If you're already in Siam Centre, pop into the food hall on the top floor and grab a few packets of the Tom Yum Koong instant noodles. They're the little square ones in the orange wrapper, not the cup noodles. They pack flat and everyone I've given them to actually asks for more next trip.

Honestly just grab a few packs of the small curry pastes from the grocery section at Siam Paragon. They're flat, fit anywhere, and way better than the touristy keychains.

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
