Is Maxtech protein powder legit?
the thai fda actually has a list of approved sports nutrition products on their site, maxtech is on there. i checked a few months back when i was skeptical too. their factory is in samut prakan if you wanna get really deep into it lol
honestly i've been buying maxtech for like 2 years now from their shop near bangkok university and never had issues. the chocolate one is actually one of the few that doesn't make me feel bloated after mixing with water.
if you're worried about amino spiking i'd say check the lot number on the tub and message their line account, they usually respond within a day with the test results. most of the local gym rats i know in on nut switch to this when they're on a budget and nobody's complained about fake gains or anything
fwiw i think the vanilla is way better for mixing with smoothies but that's just me
I've been buying Maxtech for about a year from the Fitness First near Siam and it's been fine. The chocolate is solid but if you ever want to switch it up, the unsweetened unflavored one mixes better into coffee or oatmeal without clashing. No weird side effects or stalls in progress, and I've compared it against a friend's ON Gold Standard for a week just to see and honestly couldn't tell a difference in how I felt or looked.

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
