Hello, semiunusual question but does anyone have any suggestions for a gym to start gymnastics as an adult beginner in Bangkok?

I'm an adult male in my mid 20s wanting to start a new physical challenge and skill set. Ive just finished my active duty military service, and have always wanted to try this sport. Any suggestions would be helpful. I know this isn't a common sport to just pick up as an adult and I'm unsure of how popular it is here. Thank you in advanced.

definitely check out Urban Playground in Ekkamai, they've got a dedicated adult gymnastics program that's been running for a few years now. the coaches are mostly former Thai national team athletes and they're really patient with beginners. it's on Sukhumvit 63, about 5 mins from Ekkamai BTS, classes run around 500-600 baht per session. they focus on basic strength and flexibility first before you even touch the apparatus which is smart for us older folks lol

honestly if you're near the Sathon area, check out Fly High on Narathiwat Soi 3. it's more of a circus arts space but they do a lot of tumbling and handbalancing stuff that overlaps with gymnastics basics. the vibe there is super chill and half the people are adults who just want to learn cool physical skills. they do drop-in sessions for like 400 baht and you can just work on cartwheels and handstands without feeling judged. the owner used to compete in acrobatics so she knows her stuff.

You'll want to check out Tumble Zone near On Nut. They have open gym sessions on weekends that are pretty welcoming to adults, and the coaches there are used to people starting from zero. The place is down Soi Sukhumvit 77/1, about a 10 minute walk from the BTS. The tumbling and basic floor work is where most adult beginners start, and it's a good way to build the coordination without needing the full equipment right away.

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
