Space Plus or Route66 better club on a Monday night?
yeah space plus is def the pick for edm on a monday. route66 is more of a social drinking spot with live music, not really built for electronic stuff. space plus has that warehouse feel with visuals that match the beats, and the crowd there is actually there for the music not just to get drunk. if u want a cheaper alternative for later, glow is in the same area and stays open til late with solid techno too
space plus is the one for edm, route66 is more of a thai pop and rock kinda place even on weeknights. space plus has that proper clubbing setup with the lasers and big screens that actually sync with the music, feels more like a proper rave space. one thing nobody mentioned is the crowd vibe - space plus pulls more of the international crowd and serious music heads, route66 is mostly locals hanging out in groups. if u want a backup plan, glow is a 5 min walk away and stays open later, they play solid techno too but it's a smaller darker room
tbh space plus is the move for edm, route66 is more of a live band vibe even on mondays. space plus has that Funktion-One sound system which is legit for electronic music, and their resident DJs usually play proper house and techno. just get there around 11pm cause it can be kinda dead before then on a weeknight, and drinks are like 300-400 baht so not too bad.

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
