Hello there! I'm going to be in BKK first week of December and I would like to buy the video camera above for this trip and upcoming trips in 2025.

I need help to find the best store with the best deal for this specific gadget, please 🙏🏼 If you could also be specific with the address/location. We're staying in Siam area.

Thank you for your help!

You can try the camera section on the 4th floor of MBK Center, it's a short walk from Siam. There's a shop called Photo Hall that usually stocks Insta360 products and they're pretty straightforward with pricing. Just keep in mind that prices in Thailand for these cameras are usually close to the official retail price, not much room to haggle on new tech gear. If you want to compare, Fortune Town near Rama 9 has a few more camera shops but it's a bit further from Siam.

If you're already in Siam, you could also check the camera shop on the 2nd floor of Siam Discovery. It's a smaller place called Big Camera, tucked near the escalators by the lifestyle section. They don't always have the Go 3 on display, but if you ask they can check stock from their other branches and have it sent over within a day or two. The price will be the same sticker price as anywhere else, but you might get a free memory card or a small discount if you pay cash.

honestly just hit up Power Buy or Banana IT at Siam Paragon, they usually have Insta360 stuff in stock. might not be the absolute cheapest but you're right there and it's legit warranty

Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but I've always found their som tam a bit tame on the pla ra. If you want the real funky version, try the shophouse spots along Soi Udomsuk 26, near the night market end. They pound it fresh with fermented fish that'll clear your sinuses, and it's like 60 baht. Different style from the On Nut places, more Lao-leaning.

for som tam specifically i'd say the Isaan spots in Chatuchak are underrated, weekdays only though since the weekend crowd ruins the vibe. there's a stall near gate 2 that does tam pa with fermented bamboo shoots, super sour and funky, not something you see much in On Nut. if you're already heading north for Or Tor Kor anyway its worth the detour.

honestly the som tam at Krua Dok Mai Kao is good but what got me hooked is their nam prik pla raa dip with the raw veggies, that funk hits way harder than the papaya does. think most people sleep on it cuz they just order the som tam and gai yang. also pro tip, go before noon on weekdays, after that teh pla ra gets milder cuz they batch it for the lunch rush
