Where can I buy Anime Manga English Version?

In Bangkok, where can I buy the Manga English version? I just found the only Thai-language manga version. Please suggest where I can get it. Thanks. In Bangkok, where can I buy the Manga English version? I just found the only Thai-language manga version. Please suggest where I can get it. Thanks.

kinokuniya at siam paragon has a whole english manga section, 3rd floor near the cafe. pricey but the selection is solid, they get new releases weekly. if u want cheaper, check the secondhand shops at megapracha wong or chatuchak weekend market, but those are hit or miss for english copies. honestly kinokuniya is ur best bet for guaranteed stock, they even order stuff if u ask.

fwiw the kinokuniya at siam paragon is the obvious one but everyone knows that. check the secondhand shelves at dasa book cafe near on nut bts, they have a random english manga corner thats mostly older shonen but ive pulled some gems there like the original death note volumes for like 80 baht each. theyre not pristine but for reading theyre fine.

also if u dont mind waiting, the kinokuniya website has a stock locator that tells u exactly which branch has what, then u can just grab it from the counter without wandering around. the emquartier branch tends to have more obscure stuff while siam paragon gets the new releases first.

If you're staying near the BTS line, check out the secondhand section at Kinokuniya's other branch in EmQuartier, though the real trick is hitting up the book fairs they hold at Queen Sirikit National Convention Center a few times a year. Publishers bring over English stock from Singapore and Hong Kong, so you'll find volumes that never make it to normal shelves here. Another spot people overlook is the manga corner at the National Library on Samsen Road, they don't sell but you can read current English releases for free and check what's out before you buy. For new stuff, I'd also swing by the Book Depository pickup point near Ari BTS, they order from overseas so shipping's bundled and you get the exact volume you want without hunting around malls.

Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but I've always found their som tam a bit tame on the pla ra. If you want the real funky version, try the shophouse spots along Soi Udomsuk 26, near the night market end. They pound it fresh with fermented fish that'll clear your sinuses, and it's like 60 baht. Different style from the On Nut places, more Lao-leaning.

for som tam specifically i'd say the Isaan spots in Chatuchak are underrated, weekdays only though since the weekend crowd ruins the vibe. there's a stall near gate 2 that does tam pa with fermented bamboo shoots, super sour and funky, not something you see much in On Nut. if you're already heading north for Or Tor Kor anyway its worth the detour.

honestly the som tam at Krua Dok Mai Kao is good but what got me hooked is their nam prik pla raa dip with the raw veggies, that funk hits way harder than the papaya does. think most people sleep on it cuz they just order the som tam and gai yang. also pro tip, go before noon on weekdays, after that teh pla ra gets milder cuz they batch it for the lunch rush
