For that specific weekend, check if Narz on Sukhumvit 23 has anything booked. They do a lot of melodic techno and progressive house, which is the closest you'll get to trance in a proper club setting. The Funktion-One sound system there is worth hearing even if the genre isn't a perfect match. Otherwise, your best bet is to look up the "Trance Family Thailand" Facebook group, they post all the small underground parties and guest sets that don't show up on mainstream club calendars.
honestly trance is kinda dead in bangkok these days, most clubs are into techno or edm trap now. but if u want proper house and trance, check out mustache bar on sukhumvit 21, they do a lot of melodic stuff and it's a small intimate spot. also glow on sukhumvit 23 sometimes has trance nights but it's more hit or miss, check their fb page before going. for a bigger club vibe, sing sing theater plays some house on weekends but it's more commercial.
if u want trance specifically, might be worth checking out the events at beam on sukhumvit 23. they do rotating guest djs and sometimes pull in proper trance acts, tho it's more of a club night vibe than a dedicated trance club. another option is haven't heard much about but the rooftop at octave on sukhumvit 55 has house djs on fridays and saturdays, just not trance really. for something different, the bar at w hotel on sathorn does a sunday pool party with house music but it's daytime only
best som tam in Bangkok? Krua Dok Mai Kao 2026
yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
