honestly the scene is way bigger than most people realize, there's a facebook group called Bangkok Padel Club where people post looking for games almost daily. i've found a few consistent hitting partners through there, way easier than cold-calling courts. also if you're near Ekkamai, check out the courts at The Racquet Club, they're clay-based which is a nice change from the hard stuff.

If you're on the Thonburi side, check out Padel 99 near Wongwian Yai. They've got four indoor courts with proper lighting, which helps with the heat. The owner is Argentine and runs weekly mixers on Saturday afternoons, usually around 500 baht for two hours including the ball rental.

there's also a spot called Matchpoint near Thong Lo, they have a couple of padel courts mixed in with the tennis ones. i've played there a few times, it's decent but you gotta book ahead on weekends. 800 baht sounds about right, maybe a bit cheaper if you go during off-peak hours.

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
