Hey I just lost access to my mobile banking after losing the physical card here. My husband is about to send me money but I can only do a cash pickup. My husband is about to send me money but I can only do a cash pickup. I keep seeing Western Union ad but when I look up more on the app, they give me a wrong ageng location & dead phone number. Anyone know any tips or western union reliable agent nearby? I see on the app it's just bunch of 7/11

The 7/11 Western Union service is actually fine despite the app being janky. Just go to a big one on Lat Krabang Road near the airport link station, they process cash pickups all day. For a backup, the Kasikorn branch inside Lotus on Lat Krabang Soi 10 does MoneyGram transfers too and the tellers there speak enough English to sort you out.

honestly the western union at 7/11 is fine, just make sure you have the mtcn number and your passport. the app is buggy but the counter works. if you want a backup, there's a superrich exchange booth inside the lotus's on lat krabang road that does cash pickups too, they're open til 9pm and way less crowded than the banks

tbh the 7/11 thing works but you gotta make sure it's one of the bigger branches with the yellow WU sign out front, the tiny ones sometimes don't have the terminal active. if you're near the airport, there's a proper Western Union office inside Suvarnabhumi on the B floor near the airport rail link entrance, open 24/7 and they handle cash pickups no problem just bring your passport and the sender's reference number

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
