Place to watch LoL Worlds Final on Saturday?

As the title says, anyone knows of a cool place like a bar to hang out and have some drinks/food and enjoy the match?

Any suggestion is appreciated, thanks in advance

honestly most sports bars in bangkok are more into football or muay thai but the esports scene has been growing. you could try the game bar at true digital park in phra kanong area, theyve shown big league matches before and theres decent food stalls right outside. if that doesnt pan out, check soi cowboy or the sports bars around nana plaza, theyll put it on if you ask nicely, but expect more of a party vibe than a focused viewing crowd. worst case grab some beers at 7-11 and hit a rooftop with a laptop, honestly the atmosphere is whatever you make it lol

Gaming culture here leans on internet cafes more than bars for tournaments, but a few spots do it right. Check out AIS eSports Stadium near Phra Khanong BTS, they're a proper venue and usually screen big international finals with a decent crowd. For a more relaxed option, the sports bar at Terminal 21 Asok has multiple screens and the staff are pretty chill about switching channels if it's not packed. There's also a spot called Game Over on Sukhumvit Soi 11 that does themed nights, though it can get loud with the club crowd upstairs. If you're near Siam, the food courts at Siam Square often have big TVs and you can grab drinks from the kiosks, but it's not a dedicated viewing space.

best som tam in Bangkok? Krua Dok Mai Kao 2026

Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but I've always found their som tam a bit tame on the pla ra. If you want the real funky version, try the shophouse spots along Soi Udomsuk 26, near the night market end. They pound it fresh with fermented fish that'll clear your sinuses, and it's like 60 baht. Different style from the On Nut places, more Lao-leaning.

for som tam specifically i'd say the Isaan spots in Chatuchak are underrated, weekdays only though since the weekend crowd ruins the vibe. there's a stall near gate 2 that does tam pa with fermented bamboo shoots, super sour and funky, not something you see much in On Nut. if you're already heading north for Or Tor Kor anyway its worth the detour.

honestly the som tam at Krua Dok Mai Kao is good but what got me hooked is their nam prik pla raa dip with the raw veggies, that funk hits way harder than the papaya does. think most people sleep on it cuz they just order the som tam and gai yang. also pro tip, go before noon on weekdays, after that teh pla ra gets milder cuz they batch it for the lunch rush
