We were there a couple weeks last January, and obvio… Hi all, my fiance and I (American here, fiance German/Russian) are doing a month in Bangkok in December to work a bit and explore more of the city. We were there a couple weeks last January, and obviously loved it so much that a longer trip was proposed.

This may be a cliche question here, but want to see if anybody suggests stuff for a longer-term stay? Hole-in-the-wall cocktail bars or restaurants, cafes, comedy clubs, gardens, etc? We're already getting a coworking space (The Loft near Si Lom) where we're also going to be staying. Any suggestions/help is appreciated!

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
