Can I get Two ISPs at one condo on DTV?

Basically I need the utmost reliability in uptime and throughput for data uploading in real time.

I own a cellular bonding setup using speedify and travel routers to combine multiple connections.

So is there a way to get say AIS AND TRUE fiber at the same location? Then I can combine both connections for fall over and or increase bandwidth for upload traffic.

The cost is irrelevant to me.

Thank you

You can absolutely run both AIS and True in the same unit. Just call each provider separately and schedule the installs on different days so they don't trip over each other. The fiber termination points are usually in the utility closet or near the main door, and the second crew will just run their own line alongside the first one.

Since cost isn't a concern, I'd actually flip the recommendation and put True on primary and AIS on backup. True's gigabit fiber in Bangkok has been noticeably faster for uploads in the 500-800 Mbps range during off-peak, while AIS tends to hold steady at a lower cap but rarely drops. If you're bonding with Speedify, the real win is having both providers terminate at different physical entry points to the condo, which most buildings here allow without issue.

Make sure you ask both installers to configure the ONT in bridge mode before they leave. AIS is usually fine with this if you mention you're using your own router, but True's technicians sometimes push back and try to leave their router in place. If they argue, just tell them you'll handle it yourself and call their support later to enable bridge mode remotely.

Yeah you can definitely have two ISPs in the same condo. Most buildings here have separate fiber termination points for each provider, so AIS and True can both run their own lines to your unit. Just tell the second installer you already have one service and they'll work around it.

I'd suggest putting AIS on the primary and True as the secondary. AIS has been more stable in central Bangkok for uploads in my experience, especially during peak hours around 7-9pm. True can get congested in some condos because their infrastructure shares bandwidth across the building.

One thing to watch for is the router setup. If you're using Speedify with a travel router, make sure both fiber modems are in bridge mode otherwise you'll get double NAT issues. The AIS technician can set theirs to bridge on request, True is hit or miss depending on who shows up.

third reply got cut off but yeah you can do this no problem. one thing nobody mentioned is the actual physical install path. if your condo is newer like under 10 years old there's usually a fiber tray in the ceiling or a dedicated conduit between units. older buildings like those off sukhumvit soi 22 might need the second cable to run along the baseboard which some juristic offices get weird about. check with your juristic first before booking the second install, some buildings have a policy limiting to one provider per unit even if it's technically possible.

for your speedify bonding setup specifically, i'd put true as primary if you're in an area near a true node like around asok or thonglor. their upload in those zones can hit 700+ mbps consistently. ais is better as the backup because their routing handles packet loss better when speedify switches over. test both in bridge mode with a laptop first before your travel router to see which one actually gives you the upload speeds you're paying for. true's 1gbps plan in practice gives around 850 down 650 up in most central condos, ais is usually closer to 900 down but only 500 up.

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
