Any sim card providers recommendation? I usually need about 15GB data per month but could do with 8-10GB if there is an option to top up if I ran out durring the month. Not really needing for calls l, mostly web browsing, Grab, etc.

Can be either sim or Esim.

Thanks!

honestly the 7-11 tourist sims are fine but for 3 months you're better off getting a postpaid plan from AIS or TrueMove. walk into any AIS shop at a mall like CentralWorld or Siam Paragon, bring your passport, and they'll set you up with a prepaid sim that you can just keep topping up. the 399 baht monthly plan gives you like 20GB on TrueMove and it rolls over if you dont use it all. AIS has slightly better coverage in the BTS tunnels imo but True's been solid for me even out in Nonthaburi

just grab an ais tourist sim from 7-11 when you land, 300 baht for 30 days with 15gb then top up at any 7-11 for another month. if you want esim, dtac has a 90-day plan on their website for like 900 baht, works fine for grab and browsing. honestly ais has the best coverage in bts tunnels and upcountry if you travel, but dtac's fine for central bangkok. both let you top up via their apps if you run out mid-month

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
