I don't need any equipment, just a nice looking and silent place to film.

Do you have any suggestions or rooms in particular/places to look at?

Check out the Bangkok Screening Room on Soi Sainamthip, they have a small rental studio in the back that's dead quiet and the walls are thick enough you won't hear Sukhumvit noise. It's 800 baht an hour and the lighting is already decent, just bring your own camera. If that's booked, try the co-working space at The Commons on Thong Lo 17, they have soundproof phone booths big enough to stand in with a tripod, about 300 baht for two hours. Most people don't realize those booths exist because they're meant for calls, but they work fine for video.

honestly just look up "photo studio rental" on facebook marketplace, tons of people rent out their condo units by the hour or day for exactly this. i've seen a few near thong lo that are fully set up with nice backdrops and soundproofing, way easier than filtering through airbnb.

try searching on rent hub or hipflat instead of airbnb, they have more long-stay condos that people use as studios. nana area has some serviced apartments with soundproof rooms meant for content creation, the one on suk soi 3 is decent. if you're on a budget, look up "creative space" on google maps near ekkamai, there's a few co-working spots that let you book private rooms by the hour

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
